Howard Beats FAMU in Paper Chase

I recently visited your website and noticed that the masthead of your paper says that The FAMUAN is the most frequently published newspaper at an HBCU. While that may have been true a year ago, the title of most frequently published HBCU paper today rests with The Hilltop, of Howard University.

For years HBCUs have been battling to produce a campus paper with the most frequency. And for a while FAMU and Howard were neck and neck. This year, however, The Hilltop beat other Black newspapers in the race to publish daily.

Both staffs should be applauded for their efforts in advancing student journalism. However, The FAMUAN should strive to be accurate in its masthead.
