Sororities

Greek organizations are overrated on this campus. Let’s use the Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta for example. Are they really REAL? Interested girls shouldn’t feel obligated to sleep with or buy current members unnecessary material items just to be a part of the organization. These types of acts make me question the type of women in this organization. Aside from sleeping with each other, what has the majority of the current members or recent inductees done to benefit the FAMU community? A select few can’t keep the good name of Delta Sigma Theta alive alone. Yeah, having models in Epicurean and Faces or writers for The Famuan will recognize their organization, but is that all they want to be? Just recognized? They should want to leave a lasting legacy, but I don’t see that happening with this group of women. This was just food for thought. Respectfully,D.R.L.sugadumpling@yahoo.com
