I would like to take this time to thank the FAMUAN staff for its recent articles in The Men’s Issue, especially Our Black Men Need Love Too and Four Stand Out As Leader On, Off Campus (November 17, 2004). Often times, media outlets portray black men in such a negative light, and is it great to see the FAMUAN recognizing the strengths and accomplishments of black men. I want to congratulate Mr. Malcolm Glover and the other gentlemen selected to be recognized in this issue, as you all were extremely deserving of such recognition. I also want to encourage all black men to remain and/or become leaders on campus and within the community. You must be positive role models for the next generation to look up to. Once again, thank you FAMUAN for all that you do. Your work is truly to be commended.
