PittsburghJust two weeks removed from being shot, Steelers linebacker Joey Porter is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against Kansas City. Pittsburgh’s All-Pro linebacker was shot in the buttocks while in a Denver sports bar. He was hit with a stray bullet.

St. LouisRams quarterback Kurt Warner, who played a good portion of last Sunday’s game against the New York Giants with a concussion, will be replaced in the starting lineup by backup Marc Bulger. Warner rejoined the team Wednesday after spending the two days following the game in the hospital.

Tampa BayBuccaneers coach Jon Gruden says he plans to use All-Pro defensive tackle Warren Sapp more on offensive. Sapp played a down at the tight end position in Monday’s win over Philedelphia, making a 14-yard catch. Sapp got his first experience on offense last year as an extra blocker in goal line situations.

TennesseeTitans kicker Joe Nedney faces season-ending knee surgery, after injuring it going for a tackle in Tennessee’s Week 1 win over Oakland. While punter Craig Hentrich pulled double duty the rest of the game, going 3-for-3 in field goals, the Titans are now searching for a replacement kicker.
