The Artists in Bloom Festival celebrates the arts and promotes literacy by displaying the talents and skills of artists from Tallahassee and surrounding artists.
With all the activities, the festival needs the help of volunteers to ensure the event’s success.
“Volunteers add the enthusiastic support that every project needs,” said Ann Kimbrough, festival volunteer chair. “They [volunteers] make significant contributions to organizations that cannot afford to pay for these services.”
Volunteers participating in the Artists in Bloom Festival will receive T-shirts as well as a “volunteer packet” which includes a description of duties.
Volunteers must be well-rounded individuals, who work well with others.
“Through volunteerism, you gain valuable experience,” she said.
