15-year-old arrested in actor’s death An unidentified 15-year-old girl was arrested Monday in connection with the murder of actor Merlin Santana, police said. “The investigation is ongoing and no further comment will be given at this time,” Lt. Horace Frank said.Santana was shot and killed Nov. 11 in Los Angeles.Santana, 26, played the character of Romeo Santana on “The Steve Harvey Show,” which won him nominations for the NAACP Image Awards and the ALMA Awards, which honor Hispanic performers.Earlier in his career Santana appeared on “The Cosby Show,” where he played the role of Stanley, a faithful admirer of Rudy Huxtable. Santana also appeared on several other television shows including “Major Dad,” “Moesha” and “Sister, Sister.”
Halle’s husband and marriage “unstable”Actress Halle Berry said husband Eric Benet is seeking psychotherapy, but won’t mention if he is being treated for sex addiction.According to Essence magazine, Benet sought treatment for his sex addiction at a clinic in Arizona earlier this year. Tabloids speculated about Benet’s extramarital affairs within a few months of his marriage to Berry.The couple have only been married a year, but Berry said, “All romantic relationships suffer crises, no woman can claim otherwise.”
