A Tallahassee Police Department officer was shot and killed late Wednesday night while responding to a home-invasion robbery.Sgt. Dale Green, 47, was shot in the back of his head. A fleeing suspect was arrested but investigators are not disclosing details of the case.Green, a 13-year police veteran, was also a K-9 patrol officer and an expert sniper.His death is the second in the history of the department.
