I am Chad Burkhalter, President of the Alpha Eta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., at Florida A&M University. On Fri., Oct. 11, 2002, we will be having our annual Sleep-Out for the Homeless.
Throughout the week leading up to the event, we collect items to give to the homeless shelter including: can foods, blankets, clothing, etc. That night we eimulate a night of being homeless by sleeping outside all night. Once the event is over we donate the items to the local homeless shelters.
How long in advance would the FAMUAN need to receive a press release in order to consider including the event in its worthwile publication?
