Monday, March 4

Union Board Meeting: The Union Board of Advisers meeting will be held in the Snake Pit from 3:30-5 p.m.

PAAC Meeting: The weekly meeting, open to students-at-large, clubs and organizations, will be held in the Snake Pit from 8-9 p.m.

Presidential Ambassadors General Meeting: The meeting will be held in the Snake Pit from 5-6 p.m.

Table Games: For a good game of spades, dominoes, ping-pong and more, come to the Rattler’s Den from 5-10 p.m.

NCNW Seminar: Join the National Council of Negro Women in the Snake Pit from 5:50-7:30 p.m.

Caribbean Dance: The Caribbean Student Association will hold dance rehearsals in the Snake Pit from 9-10 p.m.

Hip Hop Night: The Audio Composers League will be hosting “Emancipation Monday,” complete with open mic and freestyle rappers, at the Cow Haus beginning at 11 p.m.

Spoken Word: Relax with spoken word at the Om cafe, beginning at 9 p.m.Jazz Jam”: Waterworks jazz club offers live jazz and open mic musical talent beginning at 9 p.m.

Live Blues: Enjoy live blues music at the Pearl Oyster Bar at 8:30 p.m.

Tuesday, March 5

Male Forum: The Progressive Black Men, Inc. will host the forum in the Snake Pit from 1-3 p.m.

Women’s Tennis: The Rattlers will take on Penn State University on the tennis courts at 2 p.m.

STRIKE Forum: The seminar on Anti-Tobacco Awareness, hosted by the Counseling Center, will be held in the Rattler’s Den from 5-9 p.m.

Wednesday, March 6

“Buckle Up”: An informative day of safety awareness will begin with the New Beginnings Child Care Center on the Set from 10-11 a.m. The city of Tallahassee will give demonstrations on the effects of not wearing seat belts

Safety Awareness TIPS: Join 90.5 WANM and the Tallahassee Fire Dept., Sheriff’s Dept., and Wrecking Center on Gamble and Wanish from 11-11:45 a.m. for a car wreck demonstration and information on the importance of safe driving

Safety Awareness Seminar: This special edition of “Village Vibe Live,” hosted by the Counseling Center, will be held on the Set from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Safety Awareness Funeral: The Division of Student Affairs will host the funeral on the Set from 12:30-1 p.m.

Safety Awareness Repass: Join local radio stations on the Set from 1-2 p.m., as the Safety Awareness day ends with a social, complete with refreshments for students

Women’s Appreciation: Progressive Black Men will host Women’s Appreciation in the Rattler’s Den from 6-8 p.m.

“Rhetoric or Results”: Delta Sigma Theta will host One Florida Initiative-Two Years Later, in the Grand Ballroom from 6:30-9 p.m.

Fashion Show: FACES Modeling Troupe will hold its fashion show in Lee Hall from 7-9 p.m.

Women and Money: The Center for Equity and Cultural Diversity will hold the seminar in the Embassy Room/Student Activities Center from 5:30-7 p.m.

Poetry Night: Enjoy spoken word or recite your own at the Cove Love from 8-10 p.m.

Thursday, March 7

JSA Meeting: the Jacksonville Student Alliance will hold its meeting in the Snake Pit from 5-7 p.m.

Anointed Voices of Praise: The gospel group will meet in the Snake Pit from 7-8:30 p.m.

Women In Review: The Center for Equity and Cultural Diversity will feature poetry and skits, along with a panel discussion with university faculty, staff and students about women’s issues in “Voices of Our Foremothers,” in the Phase 3 Recreational Room

Black on Black Rhyme: Experience Back Talk Poetry Troupe at Mt. Zion Calypso Cafe every Thursday night

Live Jazz: Jazz ensemble, Above Standardzz, will be performing at the Cove Love from 8-10 p.m.
