F.F.E.A hosts first organization week

The Florida A&M University Chapter of Florida Future Educators of America, will launch “Celebrate Education Week”. This will be their first ever organizational week celebration beginning Feb. 18 through 22.

The week will consist of different events geared towards education majors, educational issues and the inclusion of the Famu and local community.

The events span from an organization fair to story time where memebers will be reading to childern from a local daycare.

“Story Time with F.F.E.A. is a way of convincing the community that reading is an important tool in a child’s early years,” said Brittney Jones, president of the organization.

“F.F.E.A. week will be celebrated by having fun activities that will inform everyone about educational issues that influence our society,” said Rhonda Porter, F.F.E.A. advisor.

The organization strives to provide its members with basic qualities needed to be successful and productive educators. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
